From Todd at Todd Snyder: Focusing on what matters

Just got an email: > Fifteen years ago, I started Todd Snyder with a simple belief: a great wardrobe doesn’t need more pieces. It needs better ones. > > Today, we’re investing more deeply in that idea. More than ever, we are focusing our energy on designing exceptional products and producing a curated collection that makes dressing well easier. We continue to partner with some of the best makers in the world — from Italy and Portugal to Turkey, Canada, the United States, Cambodia, India, and more — to deliver the quality and craftsmanship you’ve come to expect. > > As a result, **you’ll see fewer end-of-season sales**. That starts this Thursday, June 25th, with our **Biannual Sale, which will be one of only two we hold a year**. > > Make better clothes. Everything else follows. > > Warmly, > Todd Snyder > Founder & Designer Not sure what "great wardrobe" and "exceptional products" and "curated collections" have to do with sales, but that's besides the point. Maybe they are trying to be high-brow. Is this good or bad? Are they basically just raising prices or moving away from the ridiculous JCrew-style perma-sale culture?
